The 96th Academy Awards have a date! The 2024 Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 10 2024. This marks the third year the Academy Awards ceremony will be held in March.

The Academy confirm the submission deadline for general categories for the 2024 Oscars as November 18, 2023. Preliminary voting for the shortlists will begin on December 18th with the results announced on December 21st. The nominations voting will run from January 11-16 2024, with the official nominations announcement on January 23, 2024.

There will be four weeks between nominations and final voting, which begins on February 22nd. The show will air live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
