The official lineup for the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival was announced this morning. Over the last few years, the festival has served as the launchpad for the world premieres, in and out of competition, of eventual Oscar Best Picture nominees from the last two years , including Anatomy Of A Fall, Killers Of The Flower Moon, Anora, The Zone Of Interest, Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick, and The Substance. We currently know this year’s jury president will be Academy Award Winner Juliette Binoche, but we do not know the other jury members at this time. More films are expected to be announced before the festival kicks off in May. This year’s Cannes Film Festival runs from May 13th to the 24th.
