The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced the winners for the 34th edition of The Gothams. The nominations singled out 39 feature films and 25 performances in nine award categories.
Various tributes were given out apart from the planned awards. Denis Villeneuve receivde the Director Tribute award for Dune: Part Two. Angelina Jolie received the Performer Tribute award for her performance in Maria. The ensemble of The Piano Lesson received the Ensemble Tribute award. Franklin Leonard received the Anniversary Tribute award for his creation of The Black List 20 years ago. Sing Sing received the Social Justice Tribute award. Timothée Chalamet and James Mangold received the Visionary Tribute award for A Complete Unknown. Zendaya will receive the Spotlight Tribute award for Challengers.
