After about two weeks of the 81st Venice Film Festival, which included many timed standing ovations, fan cams of the actors able to attend and our favorite directors in taxi boats, the festival is coming to a close. The jury led by president Isabelle Huppert unveiled the winners of the 2024 awards. Jurors, including James Gray, Andrew Haigh, Agnieszka Holland, Kleber Mendonça Filho, Abderrahmane Sissako, Giuseppe Tornatore, Julia von Heinz, and Zhang Ziyi, saw over 20 films over the last week and a half at the Venice Film Festival.
