The 77th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards will be held this Sunday, February 18th, at London’s Royal Festival Hall, and hosted by David Tennant. Oppenheimer leads with nominations, with 13 total nominations, and it seems it’ll pick up quite the pack of wins as well. The BAFTAs have a significant overlap in voting members with the Academy Awards, which makes the award show quite an indicator of what is to come. However, the British voting body does tend to lean more European than the Oscars do typically and have a unique jury system in some categories for the nomination process so it is important to take all of this into consideration.
Below are our team’s predictions in all categories for the winners at the BAFTAs.
