The 33rd annual Gotham Awards have announced their full list of nominations for the 2023 film year representing the best in film and television. This marks the first year that the annual ceremony, which is put on by the Gotham Film & Media Institute, removed a budget cap of $35 million for eligible films. The Gothams had previously announced several honorees for this year’s ceremony, including actor, writer, director, and producer Bradley Cooper, who will receive the Cultural Icon and Creator Tribute for Maestro. Rustin will receive the Icon & Creator Tribute for Social Justice Award. Ben Affleck’s Air will receive the inaugural Visionary Icon and Creator Tribute. The winners of the Gotham Awards will be announced on November 27th.
